Originally trading as JA Appliances, Joseph Abdulnour founded the appliance service business in 1994.  Focusing on customer satisfaction from a humble premises on Sydney Rd, Coburg, JA Appliances established service processes that began to earn them the reputation as reliable experts.  With this solid foundation, JA Appliances was tasked as the key Victorian service centre for Braun, in recognition of Joseph’s long standing association with the brand since 1979.

As the reputation for service excellence grew, so did the distribution network and responsibilities. To accommodate this growth, in 2002 Statewide Services was formed and moved to a bigger store on Sydney Rd.  During this period, Braun’s service needs steadily increased and Statewide Services was engaged to re-build the Braun Australia and New Zealand service network.  This additionally involved responsibilities such as directly importing stock from Germany and maintaining six month stock holdings to ensure minimal back-order situations.  Statewide Services was praised for its efficiency and customer dedication, and to this day, the Braun service restructure, service network and brand specific service processes remain in place.    

With a steadfast industry reputation, very quickly the business grew with more brands, responsibilities and service requirements.  In 2004 a purpose built facility was constructed on Hossack Avenue, Coburg North, to cater for larger scale distribution and storage demands.  This centralised location, with office, warehouse and storefront, remains the operational centre for the brands we support.  Our responsive and efficient service process enables us to provide great after sales support.  Whether you need your appliance repaired, or are simply looking for spare parts and accessories, Statewide Services are the crew to deliver the goods now and into the future.
